Can you workout in just 12 minutes?

Say you do not have time for the gym before work. As a former consultant, I am the queen of waking up just a few hours before my Monday morning flight and thinking it would be impossible to even think about squeezing in a workout. That's when I put together this quick routine to wake me up, spike my heart rate, and give me some adrenaline for Monday morning travel adventure (aka the Monday morning struggle in the consulting world). Here is the quick cardio fat blaster:

Treadmill

Incline -15

Speed 3.0 - 3.5 mph

Incline Walk - 30 seconds

Lateral shuffle right - 30 seconds

Backward Incline jog - 30 seconds

Lateral shuffle left - 30 seconds

Incline Walk (or jog at 4.0 mph) - 30 seconds

Rest for 30 seconds (placing feet on side of treadmill)

Repeat a total of 4 times for a 12 minute burn!
